About The Therapist
My name is Felicia J. Jenkins, and I am the sole therapist in the office at this time. Although I am a therapist, I consider myself as a role model for my clients. I actively practice maintaining a healthy and balanced life that I encourage for you as I own the role as a wife, mother of two teenagers, and a business woman, My desire is to be a life-giving spirit who remains genuine and forever passionate in my work. Although my style is direct, I am warm, nurturing, empathetic, and non-judgmental.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, where I was born and raised. After I moved to Atlanta for work, I later pursued my master’s in Clinical Psychology with a Counseling Specialty from The Georgia School of Professional Psychology. During that time, I also earned a diploma in Christian Counseling from Psychological Studies Institute (PSI) where I received intensive training in Counseling and the Integration of Psychology and Theology.
I have served in this field for 26 years with 16 years being in private practice. During this time, I have had extensive experience in working with children, adults, and families in crisis, children with ADHD and attachment issues, depression, anxiety, relationships issues, work stress, and other problems. I enjoy teaching and currently serve as an adjunct faculty member at Georgia Perimeter College.
